Our Technology Director, Kwame, was given the opportunity recently to introduce Kolina’s Electrocoagulation technology to Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero, Energy and Transport, Michael Matheson MSP during his visit to Scottish Water Horizons Development Centre, Bo’ness.  Kwame explained how our patented, chemical-free technology removes Phosphorus and other contaminants from wastewaters and minimises the impact on the environment.

The MSP was visiting Scottish Water Horizon’s Development Centre to see first-hand how they are helping businesses and academia develop, test and validate new innovations. Providing operational scale test facilities enables companies and researchers can trial new technologies and equipment in a safe environment, helping accelerating new products to market to protect our vital water resources.

Thank you to all the Scottish Water staff at the development centre including, Donald MacBrayne, Ruth MacNiell, Kyle Matheson and Kerry Simcock who have made Kolina welcome on site and assisted in proving our technology is a winner!!
