Kolina’s 4-stage treatment plant was deployed to reduce the levels of a range of organic and inorganic contaminants in the effluent, to allow safe discharge of the effluent to the outfall.
The main drivers for this were saving significant storage and management costs, as well as reducing the risk of further environmental or safety issues from prolonged storage. Kolina treated more than 400 m3 of effluent for safe discharge to the site outfall.
